Argentina Files Formal Complaint to WTO Over EU Biodiesel Import Tariffs

Argentina on December 19 filed a formal complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) over the EU’s decision in November to impose definitive anti-dumping duties on biodiesel exported from Argentina to the EU. As reported by Ethanol & Biofuels News (EBN), the European Commission imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of biodiesel from both Argentina and Indonesia. The anti-dumping measures consist of an additional duty of an average of 24.6% for Argentina and 18.9% for Indonesia. (See EBN on 12/4/2013)
