Brazil is curbing its U.S. ethanol imports fairly significantly, at least on a seasonal basis. Now some energy industry insiders say that the high (and highly dynamic) cost of foodstuffs needed to produce etha- nol are impacting U.S. biofuels exports to Brazil and right now that may work against U.S. ethanol producers.
