JNC’s Bamboo-to-Ethanol Demo Starts Testing

Japan’s JNC Corp. has completed a demonstration facility for the production of ethanol from bamboo at its Minamata Factory, commissioned by the Japanese Ministry of Environ- ment in 2010, and now the company will begin test opera- tions after confirming operability and safety of the facility, the company reported January 19.
