Darling International Announces Pricing for Public Offering of Common Stock, Senior Notes

Texas-based animal-fats rendering giant Darling International Inc. announced December 9 that it intends to offer 40 million shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. In addition, the company will grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase from it up to 6 million additional shares of its common stock. The company subsequently announced December 13 that the 40 million shares of common stock were priced at US$19 per share. The offering is expected to close today (December 18), subject to customary closing conditions.
