摘要

A key to species of the genus Dracunculomyia Fedotova from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan is given. Morphological peculiarities and trophic relations of these midges are analyzed. Six species previously included in the genus Rhopalomyia are transferredto the genus Dracunculomyia. Among these, D. campestris, D. japonica, D. pseudofoliorum, and D. simulans are placed in the nominotypical subgenus, and D. flavipalpis and D. simultanea, in the subgenus Absinthomyia.
