摘要

Monitoring, as with "standing guard" in the military, has long suffered from often needing to be in remote and unfriendly environments; monotony (leading to oversights); and delayed analysis of what was being observed. A number of recent developments in the field have sought to change this situation positively, if not solve them completely. Latest off the block is Datapaq which announced its breakthrough TM21 Radio Telemetry system for temperature monitoring and profiling, with the capability to support multiple loggers for data transmission, in real time.
