Faunistic notes on Scatopsidae species (Diptera) from Russia and neighboring countries

Data on the fauna of 5 Scatopsidae genera (Aldrovandielia End., Thripomorpha End., Rhegmoclemina End., Scatopse L., and Swammerdamella End.) in Russia and neighboring countries are given for the first time. A new species, Thripomorpha asiatica sp. n.is described from Kazakhstan. This species differs from related species in the widened apical aedeagal valves and arrow pointed gonostyli.
