This paper reports five new larval mite species belonging to the genus Leptus Latreille 1796) that is, L. hupingshamcus sp. nov., L. shimenemis sp. nov., L. brachypodos sp. nov., L. dolichopodos sp. nov., and L. sulascutus sp. nov. All species were collected by using the Malaise Trap from Mt. Hupingshan, Shimen County, Hunan Province, China.
