Gladstone LNG exports dip in January

Shipments from the three Australian coal-bed methane gas-to-LNG projects at the port of Gladstone, Queensland, fell to 1.69mn t in January from 1.75mn t in December last year, largely because of reduced exports to China. The January volume is still higher than the 2016 monthly average of 1.44mn t as all six trains are now in operation.
