UPnP Enables Universal Control of In-Vehicle MOST Devices

Smartphones and other mobile devices play a central role in our lives, but they have not been an integral part of our vehicles yet. So far, today's interactions between vehicle and device have been mostly limited to the exchange of information, such as phone book or audio contents. The smartphone as a central, integrated in-vehicle device has not materialized as yet. This article demonstrates how a close integration of consumer devices in MOST-based vehicle networks can be realized.
