Trichoderma species are known for antagonistic activity to many soil borne fungi and therefore it is been used as a bioagent. After day 7 of inoculation, maximum inhibition in radial growth of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceri and Sclerotium rolfsii was observed with Trichoderma viride (P) but in Rhizoctonia solani, maximum inhibition in radial growth of the fungus was observed with Trichoderma harzianum (P).
