摘要

A field experiment was conducted during rabi season of 1999-2000 to find out suitable sowing method and optimum dose of zinc sulfate for chickpea crop. Among all sowing methods selected for study, line sowing at 30 cm apart recorded better growth, yield contributing characters, grain yield, straw yield and quality characters of chickpea. In respect to all these characters next sowing method was seeding in open furrows. Growth, yield contributing characters, yield and quality of chickpea increased with each successive increase in zinc sulfate levels up to 20 kg/ha. Economic optimum dose of zinc sulfate was worked out 25.5 kg/ha for chickpea crop.
