For more than a decade, Metis Secure engineers have studied a variety of technologies and methods of providing emergency warnings. Their track record includes building and supporting more than 200,000 First Alert-branded National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) weather radios in the field. The company recently introduced a new product line, the MS-6100 Emergency Help Station. This alerting device is housed in a weatherproof, vandal-resistant exterior box that expands the application of the emergency notification system to locations such as outdoor parks, bus, train and subway stations, parking garages and parks.
