摘要

The response of foxtail millet to different fertilizers and farm yard manure levels was studied. A field experiment was conducted to assess the effect of different fertilizers and farm yard manure levels on growth and yield parameters foxtail millet. The grain yield (1477-1792 kg/ha) varied significantly due to fertilizer level. It was observed that the application of 30 kg N+15 kg P2O5/ha gave higher grain yield (1792 kg/ha) followed by 22.5 kg N+11.25 kg P2O5/ha (1615 kg/ha). It was also observed that application of 950 kg/ha enriched farm yard manure (FYM) gave higher yield (1696 kg/ha) when compared to 5,000 kg/ha of ordinary FYM (1672 kg/ha).
