Knowledge of farmers towards recommended practices of potato cultivation.

摘要

Knowledge of farmers with regard to recommended practices of potato cultivation was evaluated. Approximately 80% of potato growers had good knowledge about improved potato farming, whereas 44% of potato non-growers had average knowledge about potato farming. The majority of the potato growers had good knowledge, whereas the majority of potato non-growers had average knowledge about improved cultivars for potato farming.
