Prioritization of Production and Marketing Problems and Constraints of Fish Culture in South Tripura, India

The study is based on the primary cross section data collected from six villages (two villages each from Matarbari, Amarpur and Bagafa rural development blocks) of South Tripura district of Tripura state of India daring 2004-05. A sample of 250 fishfarms, proportionately allocated to two pre-stratified categories and villages, was drawn. The production and marketing problems and constraints were priori-tized by using rank based quotient.
