摘要

Studies were conducted during 2006 in Jammu and Kashmir, India to assess the influence of bio-regulators, i.e. GA3, BA and TRIA (applied individually and in different combination immediately after petal fall), on tree vigour, production and fruit chemical characteristics of Santa Rosa plum. There were 14 treatments replicated thrice. Application of GA3 at 30 micro g/ml resulted in maximum increase in tree height and tree spread. However, application of bio-regulators at their minimum concentration and in combination (GA3 10 micro g/ml+BA 5 micro g/ml+TRIA 5 micro g/ml) proved to be more effective in promoting tree production and improving fruit chemical characteristics.
