摘要

The pathogenic potential of two populations of cereal cyst nematode (CCN) Heterodera avenae, which causes Molya disease in wheat and barley, was studied experimentally. Plant height in wheat infected with different levels of inoculum with both populations was significantly higher in Mahendergarh population than in Sirsa population. A significant difference in plant height was observed in all three inocula i.e. 0, 1 and 2 larvae/g of soil. The increase in inoculum level was inversely proportional to the plant height in both populations. Earhead length of wheat infected with different levels of both of the populations was more in Mahendergarh population than in Sirsa population.
