摘要

The effects of agroindustrial wastes such as pressmud, molasses and rice husk, on the macro- and micronutrients of sandy, sandy loam and loamy sand soils of India were studied. These soils were collected from separate areas and analysed for their texture and composition. Agro-industrial wastes were applied at 5 and 10 g/kg soil. Maximum organic carbon percentage was observed in rice husk at 10 g/kg in all three soil types whereas available phosphorus increased at lower doses of agro-industrial wastes. Zinc concentration increased in pressmud at both doses in all soil types. In loamy sand soil, the copper concentration increased when the pressmud and molasses were added at two doses but decreased when rice husk was added at 5 and 10 g/kg soil. The concentration of manganese decreased in all agro-industrial wastes in all soil types. In sandy soil, the concentration of iron increased when agro-industrial wastes were added to it..
