A laboratory experiment was carried out during 2012-13 to investigate the in-vitro bioassay of different systemic fungicides against anthracnose of green gram caused by Colletotrichum truncatum (Schw.) Andrus and Moore. Systemic fungicides evaluated in vitro against C. truncatum, the combi-product; iprodione 25 + carbendazim 25 (Quintal) 50WP recorded the highest mycelial inhibition (99.5%) of the pathogen followed by zineboS + hexaconazole4 (Avtar) 72WP (99.3%), propiconazole (Tilt) 25EC (99.2%) andcarbendazim (Bavistin) 50WP (98.8%) were at par with each other as well as significantly superior over thiophanate methyl (Topsin M) 70WP (61.4%) which was found to be the least efficient in inhibiting mycelial growth of the pathogen.
