A field experiment was conducted during summer season of 2010.2011,2012 and 2013 for enhancing productivity of fodder sorghum under saline-alkali soils. The experiment consisted of 8 treatments viz., T,-Rec. NPK (90:50:40 NPK kg/ha) alone through inorganics, T,-Rec. NPK + FYM (10 t/ha), T, - Rec. NPK + Pressmud (10 t/ha), T4-Rec. NPK + Vermicompost (5 t/ha), T5 - Rec. NPK + FYM (10 t/ha) + Elemental sulfur (25 kg/ha), T6 - Rec. NPK + FYM (10 t/ha) + Gypsum (500 kg/ha), T? - Rec. NPK+FYM (10 t/ha) +ZnS0_4 (20 kg/ha), T8- Rec. NPK + FYM (lOt/ha) + ZnS0_4 (20 kg/ha) + Gypsum (500 kg/ha) and were compared with recommended NPK alone. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design with three replications. The pooled data of four years revealed that application of recommended Rec. (NPK + FYM 10/ha) + ZnS0_4 (20 kg/ha) + Gypsum (500 kg/ha) recorded significantly higher green forage yield (252.48 q/ha), dry matter yield (68.02q/ha), crude protein yield (4.62 q/ha), plant height (155.72 cm) and leaf stem ratio (0.30).
