摘要

The efficacy of the aqueous extracts of Terminalia chebula dry fruit and Piper betle fresh leaf was investigated against two phytopathogens (Sclerotium rolfsii [Corticium rolfsii] and Alternaria brassicicola) in laboratory conditions. Slants were prepared by incorporating the extracts into a PDA medium at 2, 5 and 10% concentrations with proper sterilization. T. chebula exhibited fungicidal property at 5 and 2% concentrations against S. rolfsii and A. brassicicola, respectively. P. betle documented minimum inhibitory concentration at 5% against A. brassicicola but established no effect against S. rolfsii even at 10% concentration.
