Petrochemical producers on the US Gulf Coast are still assessing the impact of Hurricane Harvey. Little significant damage has been reported, and plants are restarting, but many face logistical constraints, according to IHS Markit's 7 September Hurricane Harvey Overview. Ethylene remained hard-hit during the week ending 8 September, with the share of US capacity confirmed offline rising to 54 as of 6 September.
