摘要

Two hundred and twenty five sugarcane accessions were grouped into twelve clusters using D~2 statistic. Cluster-1 was the largest one comprising 77 clones while cluster-XI and cluster-XII comprised solitary clusters. Cane yield and sugar yield attributing characters were major contribuies to D~2 values. On the basis of high diversity, the divergent clones Co8371 and CoC 671 need to be exploited for further improvement in cane and sugar yield in future breeding program and production of desired recombinants.
