A field experiment was conducted during rabi seasons of 2010-11 and 2011-12 with an objective to study the bio-efficacy of a premix product of (Picoxystrobin 7.5% + Tricyclazole 22.5% w/v) 30SC fungicide for the management of rice leaf and neck blast.Field trial was laid out in randomized block design with three replications and eight treatments in-eluding untreated control. The test fungicide (Picoxystrobin 7.5% + Tricyclazole 22.5% w/v) 30SC at different concentrations was tested as two sequential sprays at 40 days (leaf blast) and 60 days (neck blast) after transplanting. Observations on the severity of disease on foliage were recorded by using 0-9 scale in different treatments. Among the fungicides evaluated, spraying of Picoxystrobin 7.5% + Tricyclazole 22.5% w/v 30SC @ 300 g a.i./ha gave effective control of leaf and neck blast of paddy withhighest grain yield and recorded highest C:B ratio compared to rest of the fungicidal treatments in both rabi seasons of 2010-11 and 2011 -12. Hence, it can be recommended for the management of blast in paddy.
