A biological trial on the effect of dried blood and rumen content (DBRC) on nutritional characteristic of Japanese quails as studied up to 5 weeks. The DBRC was included at 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and 30% in diets as Control. Treatment-1, Treatment-2, Treatment-3, Treatment-4, Treatment-5 and Treatments respectively in a completely randomized design to replace soybean meal in Japanese quail feed. Two hundred fifty two number of day old Japanese quails were divided into 7 batches (control + six treatments) each consisting of 36 birds. The birds were provided feed and drinking water ad-libitum during the study period. There was non-significant difference observed in nutritional properties in treatment groups compared to the control. Therefore up to30% of DBRC could be incorporated in the diets of Japanese quails without any adverse effects on the nutritional quality of meat in treatment groups.
