摘要

Composite and single species inoculum were evaluated in a pot experiment. It was observed that all the composite inoculum showed better performance as compared to single inoculum and a combination of Azospirillum lipoferum (Ap 18) + Azotobacter chroococcum (A7) was found to be superior among different mixed inoculum. A field experiment was conducted in West Bengal, India to assess the effectiveness of different inoculation methods on rice cv. IR-50. Among the three different methods of inoculation, seedling dipping appeared to be better than seed bed and seed inoculation.
