摘要

The present investigations were undertaken to study the effect of nutrients on growth and yield of soybean during kharif of 2006. There was significant variation between soybean varieties PK 416 and JS 335 for different growth parameters like plant height, number of trifoliates per plant, dry matter accumulation, tap root length and yield. PK416 showed superiority over JS 335 for almost all the characters. The growth parameters viz., plant height, number of trifoliates per plant, tap rapt length and dry matter significantly increased with the basal application of nitrogen and phosphorous and foliar application of Humaur at 1 ml/liter at 30, 45 and 60 days after sowing (DAS). At 30 DAS basal application of 25 kg ZnSO4/ha produced more number of nodules and dry weight of nodules per plant. At 45 and 60 DAS recommended dose of nitrogen and phosphorus (25:50 kg per hectare) along with spray of Humaur at 1 ml/liter at 30, 45 and 60 DAS produced significantly more number and dry weight of nodules per plant than rest of the treatments. The highest value of LAI was recorded for the treatment nitrogen and phosphorus with foliar spray of Humaur at 1 ml/liter at 30, 45 and 60 DAS and significantly greater than rest of the treatments. The application of nitrogen, phosphorus with spray of Humaur at 1 ml/liter at 30, 45 and 60 DAS gave maximum yield (28.05 q/ha) compared to other treatments.
