摘要

Web blight, an important foliar disease of mungbean in India, is a challenge to manage. In the present study, pathogenic variation of 48 isolates of Rhizoctonia solani, Ag-l-IB causing web blight of mungbean has been investigated through detached leaftechnique. Isolates elucidated wide variation in their degree of virulence on trifoliage leaves of susceptible line (SML-3) in laboratory conditions. Isolate SJ showed maximum disease severity (92.15%) while isolate Raj exhibited 33.18% disease severity. On the basis of degree of virulence isolates were classified into highly, moderately and less virulent.
