The objective of this study was to determine the relationships among marketable fruit yield per plant (kg), horticultural and quality traits using fifteen different genotypes of bell pepper. Marketable fruit yield per plant (kg), days to 50% flowering, days to first harvest, number of marketable fruits per plant, fruit length (cm), fruit width (cm), pericarp thickness (mm), average fruit weight (g), number of seeds per fruit, harvest duration (days), plant height (cm), ascorbic acid content (mg/100 g), capsaicin content (%) and chlorophyll content (mg/100 g) were measured on different genotypes. Results of correlation analysis was indicative of importance of number of marketable fruits per plant and average fruit weight for predicting of fruit yieldin bell pepper and there was a significant and positive correlation between marketable fruit yield per plant and number of marketable fruit per plant, average fruit weight were signifi-cantly and positively associated at both phenotypic level. Path coefficient analysis revealed that at phenotypic level number of marketable fruit per plant and average fruit weight had high direct effect. Overall, highly significant and positive correlation coefficients as well as high direct effects of number of marketable fruits per plant and average fruit weight on marketable fruit yield per plant indicated that this trait is simultaneously the most reliable component for selecting high fruit yielding bell pepper genotypes.
