A new braconid parasitoid of the tortricid moth Cydia alazon (Diakonoff, 1976) from the Canary Islands, Spain (Hymenoptera, Braconidae: Microgastrinae)

Apanteles alazoni sp. n. is recorded from the tortricid moth Cydia alazon (Diakonoff, 1976) associated with endemic pine (Pinus canariensis) in the Canary Islands, Spain. Description, variability, taxonomic affinity, diagnosis and an illustrated key to species are provided.
