This is an engaging book about the possible harmful health effect of growing up in a heavily polluted environment. It is an appealing story about seeking an explanation for the premature death of the author's sister from cancer, a search into her own vulnerability to the same fate, and a discussion of her bout with a less-malignant form of cancer. It is indexed and is well annotated and referenced.
