The effects of exposure of sublethal concentrations of Synergy-505 (chlorpyriphos 50% + cypermethrin 5%) on the biology and life table parameters of a nontarget biological control agent, Rhynocoris marginatus (Fabricius) were studied in the laboratory. In Synergy-505 exposed R. marginatus, the stadial period and incubation period increased over control. Adult longevity, ovipositing days and fecundity had marked reduction while stadial period and pre oviposition days got slightly prolonged. In life table parameters, gross and net reproductive rates and hypothetical population in F2 generation registered heavy reduction. Other parameters also showed lower levels but differences were not marked.
