The Second High-Level Roundtable

The Second High-level Roundtable on the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA) was one of the numerous events organised in parallel with the UN Conference on Sustainable Development, else known as Rio+20. Held on 21 June 2012, at Rio Centra in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the event was co-organised by the governments of Brazil and Italy, under the patronage of the High Level Task Force of the Benefit-sharing Fund of the Treaty. Its aim was to promote a coherentand synergic implementation of the International Treaty.
