Tenaris upgrades EAF injection system at Mexican tube mil

North America - - TenarisTamsa, Tenaris' seamless tube mill in Mexico, has started up a new pneumatic carbon and lime injection system on its 160-ton electric arc furnace, the vendor on the project has announced. The vendor, Italy-based MORE srl, said the system features two 3,000-liter MOLI dispensers that pneumatically inject lime from the main storage silo directly into the EAF shell and four 2,500-liter MOCA dispensers that pneumatically inject carbon.
