The Indian steel producers are under great pressure due to the rising cost of inputs as well as sharp decline in prices during the last months or so. According to World Steel Dynamics (WSD), the prices of steel in the global market may receive by March, 2010. The Indian Hot-rolled and Cold-rolled have upgraded their process technology in recent years and the quality of the products manufactured by some of the leading producers can match the best in the world. It is expected that the Indian steel producers will overcome the present crises and would see much better days in future.
