The Distributed Common Ground Systems (DCGS) is a U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps effort to develop a ground-based common system for receiving and processing national and tactical imagery in near real-time. (This particular effort was originally titled the Joint Service Image Processing System [JSIPS], but this and similar programs have been merged into the Distributed Common Ground System.)
