JINTACCS (Joint Interoperability of Tactical Command and Control Systems)

Forecast International projects the U.S. Air Force will spend some USD8.73 million in fiscal year 2005 on technology research for the JINTACCS program. In October 2005, the U.S. Department of Defense will eliminate the project that funds the JINTACCS program. Barring any major developments, this report will be archived in June 2006. The Joint Interoperability of Tactical Command and Control Systems (JINTACCS) program is a United States Department of Defense research and development effort administered by the U.S. Air Force. The JINTACCS program develops technology to standardize the messaging capabilities of future U.S. and allied tactical command, control, and communications systems.
