It is true that a lot of refractories materials are getting imported from China and also it is a fact that these are available with very competitive prices. We however do not agree that the qualities of the same are at par with the best products. From China whatever is imported is mostly due to OEM contracts where the clients do not have much say on the refractories procurement as the deal is finalized as a package, said Dr. A.K.
