Three-Digit-Million-Euro Order from the Steel Authority of India: Siemens Supplies Turnkey Process Technology for New Cold Rolling Mill in Bokaro

Siemens VAI Metals Technologies is to equip the new cold rolling mill of the Bokaro Steel Plant in the Indian state of Jharkand with turnkey process technology. The three-digit-million-Euro order has been awarded by the Steel Authority of India (SAIL). The cold rolling mill will have a capacity of around 1.3 million metric tons per year and is scheduled to take up production in 2010.
