Power Supply and Material Handling for Steelworks in India: Siemens Secures Orders Worth approx. 25 Million Euro from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd

Siemens Ltd. has recently secured two major orders from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL), a Government of India Enterprise, for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) at Visakhapatnam. The first order is for the power supply and augmentation package and the second order is for the plant material handling systems. The total value of both the orders is 1614 million rapees, approx 25 million Euro. Both projects are scheduled for completion by mid-2009.
