ISR: Coming out of a renowned corporate house and setting up your own successful entitiy like VISA Industries, how do you like to describe the feeling during your journey VS: -Striking out on my own is amongst one of my most important decisions. It was a well thought out plan. While I was confident of ultimate success, there was an element of anxiety in the initial period because business always has a risk factor. But I was more a driver than a deterant in my quest to establish my enterprise. At no stage was I afraid to make the decisions that I wanted to and needed to make. ISR: You have grown several folds during the last 10 years in your own business. What has been the key to your unmatched success? Tell us something about your efforts in your endeavour. VS : -The key has been "Commitment" and a faith in the abilities of my team. I had benefited a lot from having served a quality organization like TISCO and learnt all through my career that commitment and self belief are the key to attain to any form of success. I have followed the same principle in my enterprise. The issue of growth is irrelevant because I had to build VISA practically from scratch. I had a well thought out long term plan broken into number of milestones. Every subsequent steps were dependant on the previous milestone.
