Thin Slab Casting Rolling of API X70 Grade for arctic applications

摘要

The ability of Danieli flexible Thin Slab Rolling plant (fTSR) to produce API steel grades on an industrial basis, was proven with a trial production campaign successfully performed in 2004 at Ezz Flat Steel (EFS) plant, Egypt. This was the very first time in the world that an arctic API X70 has ever been cast and rolled in a fTSR plant.
