Scottish centre to study pond-farmed algae for fuel

A Highland research centre is to be the only Scottish player in a British team created to take a world lead in the race for commercial production of oil from sea algae. The project to develop sustainable algae biofuel production combines the expertise of 11 universities and institutions, selected from more than 80 proposals UK-wide.
