UK Carbon Plan to meet carbon targets to 2050

The task of rebalancing the UK economy away from carbon is well-progressed and set to result in greater energy security and the development of new innovative technologies, according to ministers launching the government's 'Carbon Plan' in December. The Carbon Plan sets out the government's strategy for achieving the emissions reductions committed to in the first four carbon budgets, on the way to reducing UK emissions by 80% from 1990 levels in 2050.
