The new Labour leader, Ed Miliband, was also the last Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change - and thus a particularly interesting figure for energy policy observers. Here, James Garland discusses Miliband's prospects in opposition. In the coming months, we expect Ed Miliband to receive a good deal of flak from the coalition government. Although he has had moments during Parliamentary Question Times, clearly he is an easy target for jibes about the legitimacy of his Labour leadership victory, given the manner in which he was elected.
