摘要

This study presents the musculoskeletal conditions in 89 veterinarians in Ireland during a survey conducted in November 2007. Career and annual prevalence of work-related musculoskeletal symptoms were 82 and 59.5%, respectively. The most frequent reported site of symptoms was the lower back, with career and annual prevalence of 61 and 35%, respectively. 47% of respondents reported symptoms in 3 or more body regions. The risk factors and implications of these findings are discussed.
