In 2008, faced with increasing power utility bills, Cannington Cold Stores, a supplier of prepared and packaged products to UK supermarkets, established Cannington Bio-Energy to produce an affordable renewable energy solution for its cold storage through the use of anaerobic digestion and waste management.
