Officially opened only a few months ago, a pedestrian/bicycle bridge over Toronto's Humber River is fast becoming a local landmark. Engineering by Delcan Corporation, the bridge uses a double-inclined, tubular structural steel parabolic arch configuration that is considered unique in Canada. Other members of the design team were Montgomery and Sisam Architects; Ferris + Quinn Associates Inc., landscape architecture and urban design, and Environmental Artworks Studio, urban artists. Geotechnical input was provided by Colder Associates Ltd.
