Nitrogen Oxides Sensor Based on Silicon Nitride Refractory Ceramics

A compact NOx sensor was fabricated by usingbulk silicon nitride sintered refractory ceramic which hasprevailed in the structural ceramics market because of its highchemical stability and mechanical strength. The response to NOand NO2 is exactly equivalent and in situ total NOx detection inthe combustion gas can be realized by this type of sensor.
